Amin Alibakhshi has been conducting research since 2016. He holds a BSc and a MSc in Mechanical Engineering, from Malāyer University and Islamic Azad University respectively, both in Iran. He was awarded the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship to pursue his PhD in Aerospace Engineering at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

In 2026, he joined Dr. Guillermo Lorenzo's team as a postdoctoral fellow, researching prostate deformation and cancer, with a focus on analysis automatization. Recently, he was awarded the highly competitive Juan de la Cierva Fellowship. His interests include computational mechanics and biomechanics, finite element modeling, smart materials, and open-source programming in Julia. Outside the lab, he enjoys movies, learning Spanish, and exploring A Coruña.
